Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 – The Making of Juggernaut

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Hi folks, we can finally lift the veil of secrecy on what we did for the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 game! We had the great opportunity to come up with some new concepts for characters in the game. A few screen shots are up (Juggernaut. One of many we did!) and when we have permission to show the actual concept art, you’ll see it right here and up close.

The art director had a very clear vision from the start to have some real-world characteristics in the costuming, so we did our best to convey that in the art so it could be translated into the 3D images you see in the game. A fun and challenging process for sure, but it’ll be well worth it when you see it live.

Big thanks to Vicarious Visions, Activision and Marvel for this wonderful opportunity. To the fans of all things Marvel, we really hope you enjoy this game when it finally hits stores.

Gearing up for GenCon 2009

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

GenCon 2009 is fast approaching and we’re gearing up for this year’s show. If any art directors would like to meet, give us a shout! We’d love to show you our portfolio of wide ranging 2D art pieces.

We have our roots in table top gaming and comic books, so we “get” what is needed for some of those really nice gaming manuals and blister packs. More and more each year, we’ve also noticed a steady increase in video game exhibitors and fans – and we think it’s a natural fit for sure. Games are games and good games need art so the experience for everyone is rich and fulfilling. We’d love to help you make your game look even better!

See you there – and happy gaming!
