We thought you would enjoy a “behind the scenes” look at what the artwork for the G.I. Joe toys looks like before it gets colored. First, we start out with sketches (also called “roughs”, or “thumbnails”). We’ll then take another pass on an approved image and then get everything to the point where it looks 90% finished, minus the colors of course. Most of you G.I. Joe fans will recognize these pieces – and now you can see them for the first time right here, raw and “uncut”. Enjoy!
